Martyn has been a Management Consultant for the last fifteen years, working in many industries in the UK, across Europe and the USA.
Prior to this, over a sixteen year period, Martyn held several Senior Management roles in companies such as Nestle and Whitbread. His passion for coaching and people development was stimulated early in his career when he spent two years as a trainer at Nestles Training School. Whilst Management Training & Development Manager for Martini Rossi he had the opportunity to develop and implement a company wide training strategy. He carried this passion and knowledge for effective people development into the General Management roles he later held.
It is this combination of extensive operational management experience and formal / informal training experience that gives him great credibility with his clients. He is not a theorist and can truly relate to the business difficulties that executives face.
He designs and delivers skill development programs that support change. His specialisms are in communication, leadership, team development, coaching and people management skills. His working relationships with clients tend to be long term – enabling him to understand the culture/s within organizations and to ‘keep his finger on the pulse’ of the changes that are continually evolving.
All of the above enables Martyn to take a very pragmatic yet people sensitive approach to management and organizational development.
